ACTA, LLC awarded SHARP II Contract Supporting the US Space Force

ACTA, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Core Concepts, is awarded the Safety Hazard Analysis and Risk Processing (SHARP) II

Torrance, CA – May 29, 2020 – The Department of the Air Force, United States Space Force, 45th Space Wing awarded ACTA LLC a $8.821M indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide technical support for the 45th Space Wing’s (45 SW/) SHARP program. Over the life of the contract, the total potential value is $29M. Work will be performed in Torrance, California and at Patrick AFB, Florida. SHARP is the designation for the hardware, software, and procedures used to perform flight analysis and risk analysis by the 45 SW/SEL analysts in support of space launch missions at the Eastern Range (ER), Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. This contract provides for performance-based services with a combination of severable (flight analysis) and non-severable (risk analysis) services. The contract includes development and sustainment of flight and risk analysis software models, performance of analysis tasks, research related to risks involving space launch systems, and administration and cyber security support for the SHARP system at Patrick AFB. The contract is organized as firm fixed price, IDIQ award with a five-year ordering period and a six-month option. It is expected to run through November 30, 2025.
